MICHELLE ROBERTSON

EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT

Michelle Robertson is an Early Childhood specialist with over 25 years of experience in education across Australia and the United Kingdom.

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) degree at Macquarie University before working as a teacher in both preschool and primary schools.

Michelle completed her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) at Macquarie University before beginning her career teaching in both preschool and primary school settings. During a ten-year tenure in London, Michelle obtained her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and led a Key Stage One Infant Department. In this leadership role, she mentored teachers and supported young children with diverse learning needs.

Michelle is also a qualified Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapist, which enhances her ability to support children with a wide range of developmental and behavioural needs.

She has a strong interest in early literacy and numeracy intervention, and firmly believes that intensive early support is key to ensuring children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

At PosAbility, Michelle works as an Educational Consultant and Intensive Program Manager, supporting primary-aged students. She is highly skilled in identifying individual learning needs, setting SMART goals, and designing customised programs that draw on evidence-based practices to meet each child’s unique needs.

Michelle quickly develops rapport with children through her warm and engaging nature, combined with strong behaviour management skills. She uses positive, supportive strategies to motivate children and help them confidently participate in learning.

Michelle has extensive experience working with children with a range of additional needs, including Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, and Dysgraphia.
